Acupuncture treatment for cervical spondylosis generally shows obvious clinical results in 3-7 days, but of course the exact time of onset of effect is determined by the degree of cervical spondylosis. Cervical spondylosis is relatively common in clinical practice, mainly manifested as pain in the neck and collar, accompanied by radiating pain in both upper limbs or a series of clinical symptoms such as dizziness, headache and unsteadiness in walking. In clinical practice, cervical spondylosis is divided into cervical cervical spondylosis, vertebral artery cervical spondylosis, neurogenic cervical spondylosis and spinal cord cervical spondylosis. For cervical cervical spondylosis and neurogenic cervical spondylosis, a course of acupuncture treatment, i.e., about 3-7 days, is usually sufficient to see significant therapeutic effects. For spinal cord cervical spondylosis, acupuncture treatment is not effective and most patients may need surgery to solve the problem. For acupuncture treatment of cervical spondylosis, it is important to determine the type of cervical spondylosis and the degree of lesion, and not all cervical spondylosis is suitable for acupuncture treatment.
