The male partner should undergo a semen analysis test. Through this test, we can basically determine whether the male partner is fertile or not. The female partner should complete the following tests: 1. whether she has ovulation: the easiest and most accurate method is vaginal ultrasound to follow up the presence of ovulation; also, to understand the condition of the endometrium; 2. whether the fallopian tubes are patent: this can be done by iodine oil imaging of the uterine tubes or hysteroscopy. Of course, laparoscopy is the most accurate examination method, but it is costly and impractical, and can be preferred for certain patients. Normal semen of the male partner, ovulation of the female partner, patent fallopian tubes and no abnormalities in the endometrium are necessary for pregnancy. Therefore, the basic tests for infertility should also be ordered around the above mentioned aspects. After the above examinations, the basic assessment of the pathogenic aspects of infertility will lay a solid foundation for further diagnosis and treatment; at the same time, the patient will avoid unnecessary examinations and time wastage. Patients with infertility can also communicate with me through telephone consultation service if they have other questions. Through telephone consultation, we can directly understand the condition in more detail and give clear consultation advice.
