What causes the swelling and pressure pain in the elbow?

Swelling is an increase in size of a part of the body due to inflammation, bruising or congestion. It is a symptom felt by the patient himself. Local swelling in the perianal area is related to many diseases, such as proctitis, sinusitis, perianal abscess, anal fistula, etc. Due to the richness of perianal nerve endings, the pathology will have local nerve sensation, causing the sensation of local swelling. Different diseases have different symptom expressions and different treatment methods. The onset of swelling and pressure pain in the elbow is commonly associated with pain in the medial elbow joint, forearm rotation forward, pain is especially pronounced when doing active wrist flexion, while radiating downward along the ulnar (i.e., medial) flexor carpi radialis, weakness of wrist flexion, and significant pressure pain or tendon adhesion in the medial epicondyle of the humerus. So how is this pain caused? Pathogenesis Direct and indirect violence can cause intercondylar fracture of the humerus. After trauma to the elbow joint there is severe pain with widespread pressure pain and significant swelling, which may be accompanied by subcutaneous bruising. If the fracture is severely displaced, there may be widening of the transverse diameter of the lower humerus, and if the overlap displacement is severe, there may be shortening of the upper arm deformity. The elbow joint is in a semi-extended position, the forearm is rotated forward, the posterior triangle of the elbow is disturbed, the fracture block can be palpated, and the bone rubbing sensation is obvious. Sometimes nerve and blood vessel injury can be combined, which should be noted during the examination.
