There is no clear evidence that ice water can cause elevated blood uric acid.
Common causes of elevated blood uric acid include high purine diet, high sugar diet, excessive alcohol intake, disease, drugs and congenital enzyme defects, etc. Ice water usually refers to a mixture of solid water and liquid water, drinking ice water can not cause purine metabolism disorders or uric acid excretion disorders, therefore, ice water can not lead to increased blood uric acid.
Although ice water does not cause patients with elevated blood uric acid, but it is not recommended to drink a lot of ice water, ice water can stimulate the human gastrointestinal tract and cause abdominal pain, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms, patients with high blood uric acid can drink a lot of more than 2,000 ml of lukewarm or ambient water in order to promote uric acid excretion.
Patients with high blood uric acid can go to endocrinology, rheumatology and immunology departments of regular hospitals for detailed consultation.
