Usually, patients are not recommended to eat spicy food after vaccination with New Crown vaccine. For patients who inadvertently eat spicy food, it is recommended to drink more water to speed up the body’s metabolism and observe whether there is any redness, swelling, pain or discomfort at the injection site; if there is no obvious abnormality, there is no need to worry and avoid eating spicy food for 1 week. If the local redness, swelling and pain are more serious, it is recommended to consult a doctor promptly. Some patients may experience slight pain, redness and swelling at the injection site, or feel nausea, fever, headache, muscle aches, diarrhea and other uncomfortable reactions after vaccination due to individual differences. Eating spicy food may easily cause redness, swelling and pain at the injection site to worsen, or cause nausea, diarrhea and other systemic reactions to worsen. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid eating spicy food for 1 week after vaccination, and to eat a light diet with more fresh vegetables and fruits. At the same time, pay attention to regular work and rest and avoid overexertion.
