Neurogenic tinnitus is also known as sensorineural tinnitus. The clinical manifestations of neurogenic tinnitus usually include the following five types: sensorineural tinnitus, tinnitus of auditory neuroma, central nervous tinnitus, ear pain, and mental discomfort. 1. Sensorineural tinnitus: usually patients will have symptoms such as hearing loss, and the degree of tinnitus will also be affected by the degree of hearing loss. 2.Tinnitus caused by auditory neuroma: If you have unilateral tinnitus with normal hearing, you must exclude auditory neuroma. 3.Central neurogenic tinnitus: It usually occurs with the symptoms of hearing impairment. 4.Ear pain: Patients with neurogenic tinnitus not only have damage on hearing impairment, but also have persistent ear pain, however, patients with chronic otitis media do not have obvious ear pain. 5. Mental discomfort: Patients with neurogenic tinnitus usually suffer from mental discomfort because of the sudden hearing loss, which also affects them psychologically and makes them prone to anxiety and depression, and they are also emotionally stressed. Usually, neurological tinnitus has five symptoms as above. For the treatment of neurological tinnitus, psychotherapy, medication and hyperbaric oxygen therapy are usually taken, and more attention should be paid to diet and rest.
