What about occult penis?

How can parents diagnose themselves at home? During the examination, a warm and comfortable environment should be chosen to make the child feel happy and relaxed, and the appearance of the penis should be observed several times when the penis is not erect and without urination. “Most of the urethral opening cannot be revealed by turning up the foreskin. The penis body can be revealed by pushing the skin at the root of the penis with the thumb and forefinger, and is usually well developed. How to distinguish it from circumcision and prepuce? For example, imagine a pencil with a sharpened pencil: pencil with a pencil tip = circumcision, circumcision without a pencil, with a pencil tip = concealed penis circumcision is characterized by a long foreskin and a well-developed penis body. What causes it? 1, congenital factors: abnormal attachment of the meatus to the penile corpus cavernosum, restricting the penile body to be exposed. 2.Acquired factors: caused by obesity. Consequences of not treating 1, affect the development of the penis. The author has treated several cases of adult occult penis (undiagnosed as a child), all of which were seen due to difficulties or dissatisfaction in sexual life. 2. Psychological inferiority complex. It is obvious in school-age children, who hide in the corner to urinate for fear of ridicule from other children. It is recommended to see a pediatric surgeon or a pediatric urologist. In my clinic, I have seen several cases of children with “occult penis” who were mistakenly circumcised in an outside hospital, with the result that their penis could not be exposed after surgery, resulting in a short foreskin. How is it treated? What are the results after surgery? For typical anaphylactic penis, surgery is recommended before school age (7 weeks old), which is essentially a plastic surgery with excellent results. Is immediate surgery required for anaplasia due to obesity? In obese children, the fat accumulation in front of the pubic bone is obvious, and the penis body can only be partially exposed or not exposed at all, especially like a radish planted in the soil, the soil is very thick, and the radish is short when exposed. It is recommended to lose weight first, insist on turning up the foreskin (to make the head of the penis exposed as much as possible), and wait until the prepubic fat is reduced before deciding whether surgery is needed.
