Ambroxol hydrochloride tablets are drugs that dilute phlegm and promote its expulsion, and are widely used for respiratory disorders. Some people will experience adverse reactions when taking this drug, including the rare rash and itching, as well as digestive side effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and other uncomfortable symptoms. There are also allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, angioneurotic edema, pruritus, and urticaria. This drug is used for inflammation of the airway resulting in thicker sputum, is contraindicated during the first 3 months of pregnancy, and is also contraindicated in patients with allergies to this drug.
