When TB patients cough, it can sometimes be accompanied by a tickling throat. Itchy throat is not a common and main clinical symptom of tuberculosis. Patients with tuberculosis mainly have cough, sputum, hemoptysis, and symptoms of tuberculosis poisoning, and some patients with tuberculosis have itchy throat due to damage to the throat caused by severe coughing. In addition, some patients with tuberculosis also have bronchial tuberculosis, which is close to the upper trachea and can easily irritate the throat and cause itching. Therefore, for patients with tuberculosis who have itchy throat when coughing, attention should be paid to the identification of the cause, and some patients may need to undergo bronchoscopy to exclude the combination of bronchial tuberculosis. Itchy throat with cough may occur in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and should be dealt with early.
