The life expectancy of benign lung tumors will not be affected after resection, most of the survival cycle of early malignant lung cancer is more than 5 years, and even individual does not affect the natural life expectancy of the patients, while in advanced stage, it is only a few months or a year or so.
1. Benign lung tumors: these tumors are not metastatic and invasive, therefore, most patients can be completely resected by surgery, and they can recover by doing good anti-infection work after surgery, which will not affect their normal life expectancy.
2. Early stage lung cancer: For early stage lung cancer patients, the cancer cells are limited and have not metastasized and spread, so most of them can recover after timely surgery to remove the lesions or clear the lymph nodes, and most of them can survive more than 5 years, and they can even have the same life span as normal people.
3. Advanced lung cancer: the cancer cells have already shown extensive metastasis and spread, and the survival cycle is mostly between 3-6 months, which can be extended to 1-2 years if targeted drugs are available.
