Sinusitis is a common disease in rhinolaryngology, including acute sinusitis and chronic sinusitis. Acute septic sinusitis is most often complicated by upper respiratory tract infection and is characterized by systemic symptoms of fever, general malaise, and runny nose. This condition requires the use of penicillin and cephalosporin anti-inflammatory drugs, such as oral amoxicillin or cefuroxime. Chronic septic sinusitis mainly manifests as recurrent nasal congestion and purulent nasal discharge for more than three months, which can be clearly diagnosed in combination with sinus CT or electronic nasal endoscopy. In case of chronic septic sinusitis, oral anti-inflammatory drugs clarithromycin, roxithromycin or other macrolides can be administered. Combine with pro-discharge and nasal spray medications, such as oral eucalyptus pinene enteric soft capsule, nasal spray of coleus and endosulfan.
