There is no such thing as a ‘benefit’ of emergency rash in toddlers, and the disease itself does not increase resistance or provide any other benefit. Measles is an acute febrile rash disease common in infants and young children under 2 years of age, caused by human herpesvirus types 6 and 7 infection. It is characterized by a sudden drop in fever after 3 to 5 days, followed by maculopapular rash on the skin and remission of the disease, and most children recover quickly, except for a very small number who develop complications. Acute rash is an infectious disease, although most children will recover spontaneously, but still a small number of children with high fever convulsions.
