Can myopic eyes apply for military school?

There are vision requirements for applying to military schools, requiring a minimum of 0.8 or higher naked eye vision to apply. Nearsightedness can be treated with surgery to achieve a visual acuity of 0.8 or higher in the naked eye. Surgical treatment options for myopia include laser surgery treatment options, and IOL implantation for crystalline eyes. Laser treatment options include the following three types: (1) full femtosecond laser surgery; (2) femtosecond laser combined with excimer laser surgery; and (3) full excimer laser surgery. A detailed eye examination is required to determine which surgical treatment option to adopt. In addition, military schools require a six-month post-operative period for laser surgery treatment options before applying for military schools.
