With the improvement of people’s living standard in recent years, digestive system tumors have gradually become a group of diseases with the highest morbidity and mortality in China. As these diseases have more causative factors, insidious onset, difficult to detect, difficult to cure and high mortality, stomach cancer, intestinal cancer and liver cancer, which are not common in people’s life in the past, are unknowingly becoming the number one killer threatening people’s life and health. At present, the treatment level of domestic hospitals varies, therefore, a large proportion of patients cannot get the best treatment. The Department of Gastroenterology and Oncology of the Affiliated Hospital of the Academy of Military Medical Sciences is one of the few clinical departments specializing in the treatment of gastrointestinal tumors in China, which mainly carries out postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy, radiotherapy, molecular targeted therapy for gastrointestinal tumors such as gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, esophageal cancer, liver cancer and pancreatic cancer, as well as anti-tumor relief treatment for inoperable and recurrent metastatic patients.
