Chinese orthopedic treatment of fracture disease

Orthopedics is a treatment method in Chinese medicine for fractures, joint dislocations and other disorders of the locomotor system. The doctor treats the patient’s orthopedic injury by pulling and stretching, resetting, aligning and massaging, and finally using a small splint for external fixation. With the characteristics of “no surgery, no medication, fast recovery and low cost”, TCM orthopedic treatment is popular among patients for treating fractures, dislocated joints and other orthopedic diseases. Chinese orthopedic treatment is an important part of Chinese medicine. It is the crystallization of the blood, sweat and wisdom of our working people, and has a history of more than 3,000 years ago. As early as the Zhou Dynasty, there was a special person in charge of the treatment of orthopedic diseases in the medical division of labor. In the Zhou Ritual, “fracture and ulcers” was recorded, which summarized the treatment of broken bones and tendon injuries caused by blows, falls, falls and falls. In its long-term medical practice, Chinese osteopathy has developed a unique theoretical system and a complete set of treatment principles and methods, and has accumulated a wealth of experience. The “small splint fixation” in Chinese orthopedic surgery is the first of its kind in China and has only since been copied by many countries. In my opinion, Chinese osteopathy is a great contribution of traditional medicine to the world of medicine, and the national policy should support osteopathy and protect traditional medical techniques. Orthopedic Chinese medicine can treat the vast majority of fractures, dislocations and joint diseases. Moreover, the non-invasive and painless treatment method can eliminate the possibility of infection and greatly shorten the patient’s recovery time. Only for two types of diseases, open trauma fractures such as bleeding and fractures involving parts of the joint surface, does Western medicine surgery have an advantage because it can quickly stop bleeding, solve the deficiencies of orthopedic surgery such as uneven joint surfaces of bone and joint fractures and difficulty in fixing splints. At present, the formal orthopedic surgery is only inherited in less than ten hospitals of the northern and southern schools, and Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the very few. At present, many hospitals, even Chinese hospitals have basically abandoned this therapy, Chinese medicine orthopedic therapy is encountering embarrassment, struggling. Some hospitals are always crowded outside their orthopedic clinics. However, for any type of orthopedic disease, most outpatient doctors are currently inseparable from the four-step process of consultation, film examination, surgical treatment, and plaster fixation, without any mention of Chinese orthopedic therapy.
