How to treat cervical spondylosis on the left

If the patient has cervical spondylosis and the symptoms are predominantly on the left side, the following treatment can be taken: First, during the acute phase of inflammation or pain, strict bed rest, braking rest, and continuous traction of the cervical spine should be taken. Second, for the pain and muscle spasm of the left side of the neck, acupuncture, massage, and herbal fumigation can be used to relieve the condition. Among them, electro-acupuncture, tui-na and moxibustion are the most effective. Third, on the basis of the above treatment, we should assist in anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling, pain-relieving, nerve-nourishing and muscle spasm-relieving drugs for treatment. If the left upper limb has the above-mentioned symptoms, we should focus on the addition of nerve-nourishing drugs, commonly used are methylcobalamin. Fourthly, if the effect of conventional conservative treatment is not good, a series of surgical treatments such as local pain closure and disc removal can be done.
