With the development of technology, many congenital heart diseases are treated through interventional catheters with mature methods to achieve radical cure. This method does not require an incision, avoids open-heart surgery and extracorporeal circulation, does not require blood transfusion, and has the advantages of small trauma, no scarring, short hospital stay (3-4 days), few complications and reliable efficacy. At present, our department carries out all kinds of interventional treatment for congenital heart disease with good results and high success rate. The congenital heart diseases that are suitable for interventional treatment include: atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, pulmonary valve stenosis, aortic constriction, pulmonary arteriovenous fistula, coronary arteriovenous fistula and others.
