Manifestations of vascular fragility

Vascular brittleness is mainly manifested by the tendency of blood vessels to rupture and bleed under lesser squeezing pressure or impact, causing subcutaneous petechiae or hematomas, which are divided into physiological and pathological changes. Physiological changes are mostly seen in the elderly, who have less collagen tissue and less fibrin, so it causes changes in the structure of blood vessels and increases their brittleness, making them more likely to bleed when subjected to external forces. In this case, only oral vitamin C and vitamin E are needed to partially relieve the symptoms. Pathological changes, such as diseases of the blood vessels themselves and diseases of coagulation factor deficiency, require further examination to identify the cause and further treatment according to the cause.
