What’s going on with low menstrual flow?

Low menstrual flow that is constant is abnormal uterine bleeding. There are many reasons for this bleeding, the most common being endocrine disorders, submucosal fibroids, polyps in the endometrium, polyps in the cervix, precancerous lesions of the cervix or cervical cancer, all of which can cause persistent vaginal bleeding. It is important to go to the hospital as soon as possible for vaginal examination and ultrasound, and treatment should be given according to the cause of the examination. If the bleeding is caused by endocrine disorders, most of them are due to abnormal ovulation and need to be treated by menstrual regulation and ovulation promotion; if it is caused by endometrial polyps, submucosal fibroids or cervical polyps, surgery is needed; if it is caused by precancerous lesions of the cervix, cervical cancer or endometritis, further examination is needed, that is, biopsy is needed to determine the next step of treatment according to the pathology results. The next treatment plan will be determined based on the pathology results.
