How to treat ulcerative glans

Ulcerative glansitis should be examined at a hospital to determine whether it is a bacterial infection, a mycobacterial infection, or the result of syphilis. The patient should have a smear secretion examination to confirm whether it is bacterial or mycobacterial, and blood should be drawn for a syphilis serologic test to rule out syphilis infection. If it is caused by bacterial infection, it is recommended to wash the glans with water every day and apply erythromycin ointment, which can usually provide effective relief for 3-5 days. If it is caused by mold infection, it is recommended to use antifungal creams such as Dakine and Fluconazole to be applied topically, which can also generally provide relief for 3-5 days. If it is caused by syphilis, it should be cleaned and injected with long-acting penicillin 2 times a week intramuscularly, which can generally achieve therapeutic effect in 3-4 weeks.
