General or semi-anesthesia for minimally invasive ovarian cyst surgery

Minimally invasive surgery for ovarian cysts is laparoscopic surgery, and laparoscopic surgery requires the option of general anesthesia, and it is not possible to choose hemi-anesthesia, or combined lumbar and rigid anesthesia. This is because the laparoscopic operation requires an abdominal distension, which exposes the surgical space. The abdominal distension requires the use of carbon dioxide, which enters the entire abdomen of the patient. The anesthesia is usually combined with lumbar and rigid anesthesia, which is relatively low, so after the gas enters the patient’s abdomen, it will be higher than the patient’s anesthesia level, and the patient will feel it, and the feeling is very painful and uncomfortable, so the patient will be in great pain during the operation and will not cooperate with the operation, so the operation is not possible. Therefore, patients are not able to undergo semi-body anesthesia and must undergo general anesthesia. When general anesthesia is administered, close supervision is required to avoid accidents.
