How to differentiate between acute urticaria and chronic urticaria

Acute urticaria and chronic urticaria can be distinguished by the duration of the disease, clinical manifestations and other aspects.
Duration of the disease: acute urticaria is more acute, the spontaneous onset of the wind and (or) angioedema less than 6 weeks, the patient may be suddenly conscious of itching, and soon appeared in the itchy part of the size of the red wind. Chronic urticaria, spontaneous clammy and/or angioedema recurrent episodes of more than 6 weeks, and at least two episodes per week.
Clinical manifestations: acute urticaria can be manifested as orange peel-like appearance, lesions usually last less than 24 hours, but the new wind masses continue to occur, the serious condition of the patient can also be accompanied by a decrease in blood pressure, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms of anaphylactic shock, and chills, fever and other symptoms of systemic toxicity. Chronic urticaria, on the other hand, is generally less severe, with more or fewer wind clouds occurring over and over again for several months or years.
