Pneumonia lesions are described by imaging studies of the lungs. Common imaging studies of the lungs include X-rays of the lungs, and CT studies of the lungs. For inflammation of the lungs, the more sensitive CT of the chest is often chosen for exclusion. CT of the chest will describe a patient with a high-density foci of pneumonia with patchy shadows, fibrous streak foci, or patchy exudate shadows, nodular shadows, and occupancy of tumor masses. For such high-density foci with pneumonia, pulmonary infection should be considered in conjunction with the presence of associated clinical symptoms of pulmonary infection, including cough, sputum, hemoptysis, fever, dyspnea, and other related symptoms. For patients with confirmed pneumonia, after anti-infection treatment, all need to review the chest CT again to clarify the absorption of the lung lesions.
