Self-treatment of hemorrhoids, the first thing is to understand the causes of hemorrhoids, change bad habits, such as keeping bowel movements open, avoiding overexertion, and improving physical fitness. The second is to make some self-treatment for the symptoms. If you have blood in your stool, the bleeding will not stop if you continue to force the bowel movement, so you should temporarily stop defecating, take a short rest, preferably lie still for a moment, and insert a hemorrhoid plug into the anus, or use a sterile dry cotton ball to stop the bleeding. If the anus is painful, you can use hot towels or warm water in the tail-sacral area or outside the anus to relieve the pain; if you add some anti-inflammatory, blood-boosting and pain-relieving herbs to the bath water, the effect is even better. When the hemorrhoid is prolapsed, use some lubricating hemorrhoid cream or lubricant to massage the mass and then gently return it to the body, then rest in bed and try to avoid using abdominal pressure. If the mass is not easily returned, it can be incorporated back into the anus after a warm water sitz bath when the anus is more relaxed, then pressed with cotton balls plus gauze, fixed with adhesive tape so that it no longer comes out, and rested in bed for 1 week. When anal itching, keep the anus clean and dry, wash it after defecation, and use some puffing powder with astringent effect.
