Can perianal abscesses cause fever?

Perianal abscesses can cause fever. A small percentage of pus is absorbed into the bloodstream after it has formed, causing symptoms such as generalized fever. Perianal abscess is a common infectious disease around the anus, and most of them are glandular infections, mainly in the opening of the anal glands where pathogenic bacteria enter, leading to septic infection of the fatty tissue around the anus. Some patients are even fidgety, and there is a possibility of generalized fever and other symptoms with more pus, which is very painful for patients and requires surgery as soon as possible. Perianal abscess is a disease that can only be cured by surgery. The usual infusion of antibiotics or oral antibiotics can only relieve the symptoms to a certain extent, and the disease cannot be cured by the above means.
