Is it better to have internal or external hemorrhoids?

There is no such thing as internal or external hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids are two different symptoms of hemorrhoids, internal hemorrhoids occur above the dentate line of the anal canal and external hemorrhoids occur below the dentate line of the anal canal. The two are very different in terms of presenting symptoms as well as treatment methods. First, internal hemorrhoids form nuclei and irritate the surrounding mucous membrane causing blood in the stool, while external hemorrhoids form thrombi or venous blood clots around the anus, causing swelling and pain as well as itching and swelling around the anus in the morning. Secondly, external hemorrhoids are easier to treat than internal hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids can be treated by applying hemorrhoid cream, while internal hemorrhoids need to be treated by means of medication plugs, and for severe internal hemorrhoid symptoms, surgical peeling of the hemorrhoid nucleus is required for treatment.
