(I) Drug therapy 1.Lipid-lowering drugs, inositol nicotinate vitamin C; 2.Lowering blood pressure drugs; 3.Vasodilator drugs; 4.Chinese herbal medicine preparations. (B) Surgery 1. Indications Arteriosclerosis is a systemic disease, if there are no symptoms or mild symptoms and mild arterial stenosis, surgery can be suspended. If intermittent claudication occurs and arteriography confirms severe narrowing of the arteries in the lower limbs (diameter less than 50% of the normal diameter), surgery is required. When accompanied by severe resting pain or toe ulcers and gangrene, surgery is required, but the surgical effect is poor. 2. Contraindications Recent serious lesions of important organs, such as angina pectoris, cerebrovascular accident, liver and kidney failure, etc., are not suitable for surgical treatment. Those who have a history of myocardial infarction in the past should not be listed as a general contraindication to surgery, but should be selected according to their recent cardiac function and systemic condition, and generally a simpler and less dangerous surgical procedure can be used. If the arterial output pipeline is narrowed or occluded, conventional arterial bypass grafting often leads to failure, so surgical treatment is generally not recommended. 3.Surgical methods The main use of artificial vessels or autologous saphenous vein for bypass grafting is to make a bridge-type end-to-side anastomosis at the proximal and distal ends of the occluded artery to re-establish arterial blood flow.
