How to treat heartache

For the elderly and people with “three high” underlying diseases, the common disease causing heart pain is coronary heart disease. The treatment should be based on improving lifestyle and medication, anti atherosclerosis, preventing thrombosis, increasing myocardial blood supply and reducing myocardial oxygen consumption. For patients with severe vascular lesions, aggressive therapies including thrombolytic therapy, interventional therapy and surgical procedures may also be required. 1.Pharmacological treatment: Applicable to those with milder disease. Through drugs to effectively inhibit the aggregation of platelets, reduce the formation of thrombus and prevent the aggravation of coronary heart disease. At the same time, you can also take drugs to lower blood lipids, blood pressure, blood sugar, dilate coronary artery vessels and so on. According to the different types of coronary heart disease, different drugs are used. For patients with stable angina, oral aspirin and statins are needed to reduce thrombosis of the myocardium and prevent the progression of plaque. For patients with myocardial infarction with stents installed, they also need to be treated with aspirin plus statins, but the patient needs to add an antiplatelet drug because aspirin alone may not be effective and can be treated with clopidogrel-based drugs. In addition to these drugs, the heart rate can be slowed down and the oxygen consumption of the heart reduced by oral bisoprolol and metoprolol. Coronary heart disease treatment drugs need to be combined with several drugs at the same time to achieve better results. 2.Interventional treatment: i.e. cardiac stent implantation treatment, which is suitable for those who have repeated angina pectoris or myocardial infarction for which drug treatment is ineffective. 3.Surgical treatment: i.e. coronary artery bypass surgery, which is suitable for those with complex and diffuse coronary artery vascular lesions. The condition of coronary artery disease has different degrees of severity, and how to treat it depends on the degree of the condition.
