What is the recurrence of stomach pain?

Recurrent episodes of stomach pain are associated with chronic gastritis, gastric ulcers, and H. pylori infection. Chronic gastritis disease tends to develop chronically, especially when overeating and ingesting unclean foods, which can lead to attacks of the disease. During an attack, patients experience pain because of the inflammation of the mucosa. Some people have ulcerated surfaces on the gastric mucosa, and when these people have excessive secretion of gastric acid, it can cause irritation to the ulcerated surfaces, resulting in pain. The pain caused by gastric ulcer is mainly recurrent and has a certain regularity, mainly when there is excessive secretion of gastric acid after food intake, and the painful feeling in the stomach commonly occurs about 1-2 hours after food intake. H. pylori infection is a common cause of gastric diseases. When the stomach is infected with H. pylori, recurrent gastric diseases such as gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer may occur.
