How is cold desensitization therapy for cold urticaria performed?

       In the cold winter, some patients may develop wind clumps, rashes, edema and intense itching on exposed parts of the body or areas in contact with cold objects when they are suddenly exposed to cold, and the rash will slowly subside once they step into a warm environment. These symptoms are typical of what we usually call cold urticaria. Although cold urticaria comes and goes quickly, it often lasts for years and does not heal repeatedly.  In addition to keeping warm in the winter and treating with symptomatic medication, patients with cold urticaria can also use self-cold desensitization therapy, which is also effective.
