Classification of internal and external hemorrhoids

1.The four stages of internal hemorrhoids A stage of internal hemorrhoids: blood in the stool, bright red blood. The nodular protrusion of the lower end of the rectal mucosa is seen microscopically, red in color and soft in quality. Stage II internal hemorrhoids: blood in the stool, bright red in color, prolapsing out of the anus during the stool, and can be returned after the stool. Stage III internal hemorrhoids: the swelling prolapses during stool and cannot be returned by itself, and needs to be pushed back or reset after lying down. It can be prolapsed even when the door is forced, coughing, walking or squatting. Stage IV embedded internal hemorrhoids: If the nucleus of the hemorrhoid is prolapsed and embedded and cannot be sent back in time, the sphincter muscle spasm leads to obstruction of blood return, causing the nucleus of the hemorrhoid to become congested and edematous, thrombus formation, severe pain, restlessness, surface discharge, and even surface ulceration and necrosis. This is an acute attack of internal hemorrhoids, called embedded internal hemorrhoids or embedded internal hemorrhoids. 2, external hemorrhoids four categories of connective tissue external hemorrhoids: also known as superfluous external hemorrhoids. It is formed by the proliferation of connective tissue at the anal verge, which is manifested by the enlargement of skin folds and the absence of varicose veins in the hemorrhoid body, yellowish brown or dark brown, of different sizes. The patient has a foreign body sensation, or anal discomfort, and it is not easy to clean after stool. Varicose external hemorrhoids: formed by the varicose plexus outside the hemorrhoid, forming round or oval soft masses at the anal verge, the masses are obvious when squatting or defecating. It is usually asymptomatic, but in severe cases there can be anal swelling or a foreign body sensation. It often corresponds to the parent hemorrhoid and is mostly complicated by second and third stage internal hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids. Inflammatory external hemorrhoid: a sudden, restricted mass of skin at the anal verge that is congested, edematous, and intensely painful. Thrombosed external hemorrhoids: inflammation and breakage of the inner lining of the hemorrhoidal vein, blood in the blood vessels and aggregation, forming a thrombus. There are many ways to classify internal hemorrhoids, so this article only introduces the one we usually use. However, the classification of external hemorrhoids is the same.
