The patient is 50 years old, six months after surgery for cerebral cysticercosis. Now the patient has poor appetite, abdominal distension after eating, dizziness, visual double vision, weakness, light red tongue, thick and greasy yellowish tongue coating, sunken and slippery pulse, emaciation, CT: a small amount of intracerebral fluid; gastroscopy: chronic gastritis with mucosal erosion. Past history: history of recurrent mouth ulcers. Diagnosis: 1. chronic gastritis with mucosal erosion 2. post-operative cerebral cysticercosis TCM diagnosis: fullness, dampness and heat in the stomach. Take two times in the morning and evening. Dietary contraindications: sweets, oily foods, drinks and fruits, spicy foods. Second consultation: symptoms: improvement in appetite, appetite is obvious, double vision disappears, dizziness is still felt, tongue is light red, tongue coating is thick and greasy and slightly yellow, pulse is sunken and smooth. Administration: The same formula with 15g of Atractylodes Macrocephala and 15g of Zedoary, seven doses of decoction in water, one dose per day, morning and evening, divided into two doses. Dietary contraindications: Same as above. The third consultation: the symptoms are: the diet is basically normal, dizziness is obviously reduced, the spirit is improved, the tongue is light red, the tongue coating is thin and slightly yellow, the pulse is sunken and smooth. Medicine: The same formula as in the second consultation, 10 decoctions in water, divided into 2 doses in the morning and evening. Dietary contraindications: as above. Treatment experience: 1. Considering that the patient has a history of mouth ulcer and belongs to damp-heat constitution, the patient was given Glycyrrhiza glabra soup combined with Danshen drink to pungently open and bitterly lower dampness, clear heat, tonify deficiency and eliminate distension. At the same time, dietary contraindications are crucial, as sweet, cold and greasy foods help dampness and spicy foods help heat. 2. In the second consultation, considering that the patient’s dizziness may be caused by water accumulation in the ventricles, Ze Xie Tang was given to lower turbidity and raise clearness, and to promote water retention and eliminate drinking. 3.
