How to prevent and treat chronic atrophic gastritis with Chinese medicine

  Chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) is a digestive disorder characterized by thinning of the gastric mucosa and reduction or loss of glands. The clinical manifestations lack specificity. The symptoms of dyspepsia, such as epigastric fullness, belching, loss of appetite, or stomach pain, or stomach distress with no name, or acidity and heartburn, or noisy discomfort, etc. are mostly seen.   I. Causes of CAG: 1.
  1, evolved from acute and chronic gastritis.
  2.Bacteria or viruses from the nose, mouth, or throat, swallowed into the stomach for a long time to cause stomach irritation.
  3, habitually take the stomach stimulating spirits, strong tea, coffee, pickles, too hot or too cold diet, excessive smoking, all make the gastric mucosa damage.
  4, long-term use of Western medicine or hormones, toxic to the gastric mucosa damage is serious.
  5, long-term or large amounts of bile reflux, can change the gastric environment to damage the gastric mucosa.
  6, lack of gastric acid, so that bacteria are easy to breed in the stomach.
  7, malnutrition, pernicious anemia, heart failure or portal hypertension make the stomach in a long-term stagnant and hypoxic state.
  8, genetic factors.
  9, Helicobacter pylori infection is also one of the causes of morbidity.
  Second, diagnosis: endoscopy and biopsy are the only means to confirm the diagnosis of CAG.
  In Chinese medicine, the most common cause of this disease is poor diet, injury caused by labor and fatigue, and injury caused by the seven emotions. Weakness of the spleen and stomach is a decisive factor in the development of this disease. Qi stagnation, damp-heat, yin deficiency, evil toxins and blood stasis are the common pathogenesis of this disease. Chinese medicine classification: spleen and stomach weakness, stomach yin deficiency, spleen and stomach damp-heat, qi stagnation and blood stasis, and spleen and stomach disharmony.
  Chinese medicine treatment: regulating the spleen and stomach, regulating the rise and fall of qi; eliminating lumpiness and distension, clearing stomach heat; removing blood stasis, clearing channels, tonifying qi and blood; resolving dampness, awakening the spleen and stomach and nourishing stomach yin.
  Third, daily prevention and control.
  1, the food eaten should be fresh and nutritious, to ensure that there is sufficient protein, vitamins and iron intake. Eat on time, do not overeat, do not eat too cold, too hot food, do not use or use less stimulating seasonings such as chili powder.
  2, moderate alcohol consumption, do not smoke to avoid nicotine, ethanol damage to the gastric mucosa; avoid long-term use of anti-inflammatory and painkilling drugs, such as aspirin and corticosteroids to reduce gastric mucosal damage.
  3, regular examination, for patients with atrophic gastritis with incomplete colonic intestinal epithelial hyperplasia and atypical hyperplasia, regular gastroscopy for review: general atrophic gastritis once every 3 years, incomplete colonic intestinal epithelial hyperplasia with mild atypical hyperplasia once a year, with moderate atypical hyperplasia once every 3 months, with severe atypical hyperplasia (cancer rate of 10% or more) should be considered cancerous and can be surgical resection.
