What is fibropulmonary disease?

Pulmonary fibrosis is a serious lung disease that is currently medically intractable, and there are no specific drugs or methods that can easily cure it in a short period of time. Dyspnea is the most common disease in patients with pulmonary fibrosis, but it can be seen in the middle and late stages of the disease, with no obvious symptoms in the early stages. Most patients have no obvious cause, and it is associated with long-term smoking, environmental factors, and genetic factors. Pulmonary fibrosis is formed when fibroblasts proliferate in the lungs, extracellular matrix accumulates in large numbers, and the original lung structure is destroyed. The clinical manifestation is mainly dyspnea. The disease requires adherence to long-term, regular treatment to achieve the best results. Patients should have a comfortable living environment, such as quiet and clean, fresh and moist air, avoiding irritants with strong odors such as smoke, and avoiding inhaling air that is too cold, too dry, or too humid. Ensure sufficient sleep to help recover physical strength, improve physical fitness, and prevent colds. Drink appropriate water every day to keep the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract moist, and quit smoking and drinking. What patients need to pay attention to is in the daily conditioning and clinical care. It is necessary to have firm confidence in brace spirit, positive and optimistic treatment, to have confidence, cooperate with treatment and fully mobilize their own anti-disease potential to fight against it.
