Attention Patients with Interstitial Lung Fibrosis

  This project is led by Li Guoqin, Director of the Department of Respiratory Medicine, Guang’anmen Hospital, Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and funded by the Institute’s Incubation Fund. To benefit more patients.  Idiopathic pulmonary interstitial fibrosis is a progressive disease of unknown cause, characterized by diffuse interstitial fibrosis with cellular changes in both lungs. The incidence of the disease has been gradually increasing in recent years, with insidious onset and serious health risks, and is attracting worldwide attention.  If you have idiopathic pulmonary interstitial fibrosis and are between the ages of 40 and 80, we invite you to participate in this study. The study will be conducted at the Department of Respiratory Medicine, Guang’anmen Hospital, Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and 30 subjects are expected to participate. The 30 patients enrolled will be treated with the standard treatment regimen of unified Western medicine as the basic treatment plan, along with the Yi Qi and Blood circulation method as the TCM therapy. In order to scientifically evaluate the efficacy of the drugs on you and their safety, blood tests, blood oxygen saturation, chest CT and lung function, 6-minute walk test and other tests required in the study protocol will be performed before and after the treatment.
