How to treat muscle crush injuries

After the muscle is squeezed, it is important to remove the object pressing the muscle in time to release the muscle restricted area and observe the injury in detail. Within 24 hours of a muscle crush injury must be promptly treated, preferably with a clean cloth wrapped in ice for ice or immersed in cold water, which can reduce pain and have a relieving effect when there is muscle swelling and internal bleeding, after which the whole body needs to be checked again to confirm whether other parts are injured. If internal injuries are suspected, such as problems inside the chest cavity or bones, the patient needs to be sent to the doctor promptly and try not to touch the injury, otherwise fractures may occur, and the patient needs to be observed for shock or fainting. Recovery should also not be done with excessive weight or amplitude of exercise to avoid aggravating the condition.
