Therefore, personalized and comprehensive treatment plan based on evidence-based medicine is the main development direction. Breast cancer belongs to the category of “breast rock” in Chinese medicine. According to Chinese medicine, the root cause of breast cancer is the imbalance of punch and spleen and kidney deficiency, while the symptoms of breast cancer are qi depression, phlegm, blood stasis and heat toxicity. The weakness of positive qi, internal invasion of external evil, blockage of breast channels, and poor flow of qi and blood; or internal injury of emotion, depression of liver qi; or uncontrolled diet, internal injury of phlegm and dampness; lead to depression of qi, stagnation of blood stasis, and internal growth of phlegm and dampness, which further damage positive qi.
