What are the precautions to be taken before and after the intervention for precardiac disease?

Interventional treatment of precardiac disease requires a very detailed understanding of the condition by the physician. Before treatment, we will perform several tests on your child in order to make an accurate diagnosis of the condition: 1) an initial outpatient examination, through X-ray chest examination, electrocardiogram and echocardiogram to get a general idea of your child’s basic condition and whether interventional treatment can be performed; 2) if you plan to use interventional treatment, a detailed echocardiogram will be performed before hospitalization to measure We also need to perform routine cardiac catheterization and cardiovascular angiography before interventional treatment. Through this echocardiographic data and cardiac catheterization data, we can accurately determine the extent of your child’s condition and choose the appropriate type of blocker or balloon. After the interventional treatment, your child should be hospitalized for 2-4 days for observation, mainly to observe whether there is any bleeding, bleeding and infection in the puncture area, to observe the immediate effect of the treatment, and to observe the follow-up treatment after the interventional treatment, such as infusion and antibiotics. In addition, the patient should be observed for complications such as hemolysis and conduction block, and we always replace the puncture site with a band-aid to protect the puncture opening when the patient is discharged from the hospital. We ask patients not to participate in strenuous physical labor and activities for 1-2 weeks after discharge, pay attention to rest, take medication on time, and review regularly.
