What is the medicine for the pain in the inner thigh?

Pain in the inner thigh can be caused by oral non-steroidal painkillers, antibiotics, nutritive nerve medication, medication to improve circulation, etc. Common causes include excessive exercise, muscle strain, lymphadenitis, lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, and necrosis of the femoral head.

1. Excessive exercise: Excessive exercise of the lower limbs can lead to the accumulation of lactic acid within the muscles, causing soreness of the inner thighs, which is usually relieved after resting and does not require special treatment.

2. Muscle strain: muscle strain caused by incorrect sports posture, if the pain is more intense, you can take non-steroidal painkillers for relief, such as diclofenac sodium, loxoprofen sodium and so on.

3. Lymphadenitis: redness, swelling, heat and pain in the inner thigh may be caused by inflammation of the inguinal lymph nodes, if the bacterial infection can take antibiotics for anti-infection treatment, such as amoxicillin.

4. Lumbar disc herniation: Lumbar disc degeneration can cause pain and numbness in the lower limbs when the nerve roots innervating the lower limbs are compressed, which can be relieved by oral nerve-nourishing drugs such as methylcobalamin and non-steroidal pain relieving drugs such as ibuprofen.

5. Necrosis of the femoral head: Necrosis of the femoral head can cause pain in the inner side of the thigh, and can be taken orally with non-steroidal painkillers such as celecoxib and other low molecular heparin, prostaglandin and other drugs to improve the circulation.

There are many other reasons for inner thigh pain, such as trauma, urinary system diseases, etc. If rest does not relieve should consult a doctor, identify the cause of the disease and follow the doctor’s instructions for targeted, standardized treatment. Drug treatment is only one aspect, there can also be physical therapy and surgical treatment. The above drugs should be standardized under the guidance of the doctor to avoid adverse consequences.
