  Urinalysis: urine routine, urine microalbumin.  Blood tests: biochemistry1 (liver function, kidney function, fasting glucose, lipids, homocysteine, etc.), 2h postprandial glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, triple A glucose, renin-angiotensin-aldosterone, routine blood.  Ultrasonography: ultrasound of both renal arteries, abdominal ultrasound, cardiac ultrasound, cervical artery ultrasound.  Mandatory tests in hypertension department: 24h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, 12-lead electrocardiogram, limb artery function test.
