Rabies virus can survive on dry objects for a very short time, usually about 2 or 3 minutes. Rabies virus can be easily inactivated by ultraviolet light, neosporin, potassium permanganate, ethanol, etc. It can be inactivated by heating at 100℃ for 2 minutes, so it can survive for a short period of time on dry objects, and will not be transmitted indirectly to infect human beings. Rabies virus causes disease have been bitten or scratched by rabid dogs or sick animals history, the virus through invasion of nerve tissue, causing human morbidity. Manic symptoms include fear of water, fear of wind, muscle spasms, difficulty in breathing or fear of sound, fear of light, drooling, etc. Paralyzing symptoms include high fever, headache, limb weakness, incontinence and so on. The whole course of the disease usually does not exceed 6 days, and the mortality rate is 100%. Once bitten by a rabid dog, must be timely injection of rabies vaccine.
