There is no contraindication to the combination of perilla leaves and mulberry leaves, so perilla leaves and mulberry leaves can be decocted together.
The medicinal source of perilla leaves is the dried leaves (or shoots) of the plant Perilla frutescens, family Labiatae, which can be decocted. It has the efficacy of dispersing cold (removing the cold from the surface of the muscles), promoting the flow of qi, and harmonizing the stomach, and can be used for the improvement and treatment of wind-cold cold, cough and vomiting, stagnation of qi in the spleen and stomach, vomiting in pregnancy, and fish and crab poisoning.
Mulberry leaves are the dried leaves of the mulberry plant of the Moraceae family, and can be decocted. It has the efficacy of dispersing wind-heat, clearing lung and moistening dryness, calming liver yang, clearing liver and improving eyesight. It can be used to treat or improve wind-heat colds, the first signs of warm diseases, lung-heat coughs, dry-heat coughs, hyperactivity of liver yang (excessive liver yang, which causes dizziness, dizziness, and headache), headache and vertigo, and redness, swelling and pain in the eyes.
There are no contraindications to the combination of the above two herbs, therefore, Perilla frutescens and Mulberry leaf can be taken together in decoction.
