The lobed surface of intestinal polyps may be adenomatous polyps, precancerous or already cancerous. 1. Adenomatous polyps: adenomatous polyps are basically lobulated in shape, and lobulated intestinal polyps in this case are benign. It can be resected, but routine need to do pathological examination to exclude malignant changes. 2. Pre-cancerous lesions: If the rectal polyp is lobulated and cauliflower-shaped, it may be pre-cancerous lesions. Especially for patients with intestinal polyps or family history of intestinal cancer, intestinal polyps are prone to cancer. They need to be removed by surgery in time and pathologic examination should be done. 3. Cancer of intestinal polyps: the surface lobe of intestinal polyps may have been cancerous, but whether it is cancerous or not, it is necessary to remove the intestinal polyps through colonoscopy and send them to pathology for diagnosis. If found to be cancerous, further chemotherapy (e.g. 5-FU, vincristine, mitomycin, etc.) is needed. Whether cancerous or not, medical practitioners are advised to go to the hospital for timely examination and reasonable treatment under the guidance of doctors. Regular review is also needed after treatment.
