Bladder muscle damage and inability to urinate can be treated by general measures, medication and surgery. 1. General measures: For patients who are unable to urinate, it is necessary to cooperate with the doctor to insert a catheter through the urethra to continuously drain urine and keep the bladder open. Patients also need to do more anal exercise training to improve the bladder muscle contraction function. 2. Drug therapy: for bladder tuberculosis, patients also need to follow the doctor’s instructions to apply isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol and other anti-tuberculosis drugs. Some patients are advised to apply anticholinesterase drugs such as neostigmine and mesostigmine, which can promote the contraction of bladder smooth muscle. 3. Surgery: If the bladder muscle is seriously damaged, bladder repair surgery is needed as soon as possible. For bladder tuberculosis who cannot urinate, urinary diversion is feasible. For bladder tumors, transurethral cystotomy should be considered. Patients who are unable to urinate due to bladder muscle damage should go to the hospital in time and cooperate with the doctor for active treatment.
