Ultrasound manifestations of endometriosis

If endometriosis is present, an ultrasound will reveal abnormalities. The ultrasound presentation varies from endometriosis to endometriosis. Endometriosis refers to various pathologic changes that occur in the endometrium, such as endometrial polyps, endometrial hyperplasia, and endometrial cancer. Different lesions may appear differently on ultrasound. 1. Endometrial polyps. If there are endometrial polyps, ultrasound will find one or more hyperechoic masses in the uterine cavity, with relatively clear boundaries and rich blood flow signals. 2. Endometrial hyperplasia. If there is endometrial hyperplasia, ultrasound examination will find that the endometrium is obviously thickened. For example, if you check the endometrium after menstruation, the thickness of the endometrium may reach more than 8 millimeters. 3. Endometrial cancer. When there is endometrial cancer, ultrasound examination will find that there is uneven echo area in the uterine cavity, or the uterine cavity line disappears, and there is uneven echo area in the myometrium, and the ultrasound will show that there is abundant blood flow signal. It is recommended that the diagnosis and treatment be carried out under the guidance of a doctor.
