Infants with chickenpox, usually caused by varicella-zoster virus infection, is highly contagious, mainly for general treatment and drug therapy.
1. General treatment: Because chickenpox is highly contagious, we should do a good job of preventing infection, avoiding the virus to others, and to improve the indoor environment, change loose and comfortable clothing, avoid letting the baby scratch the affected area, to prevent secondary infection.
2. Medication: Glycerite lotion can be used externally to relieve the symptoms of itching, and can be used with antiviral drugs such as acyclovir to promote the improvement of the condition and shorten the course of the disease. When the body temperature is too high, antipyretic drugs can be applied to lower the body temperature, such as ibuprofen, to avoid high fever convulsions.
During the treatment period, parents must follow the doctor’s instructions and give medication to infants reasonably to prevent serious adverse reactions caused by improper use of medication.
