Which has a higher success rate, artificial insemination or IVF?

In general, IVF has a higher success rate than IUI. The exact success rate is related to the hospital’s level of reproductive technology, the woman’s age, and the patient’s level of cooperation.
Artificial insemination and IVF are different means of assisted reproduction. Artificial insemination is a technique of assisted reproduction in which semen or sperm is placed into the female reproductive tract through non-sexual intercourse, so that the sperm and egg combine in the fallopian tube to achieve a pregnancy, and the basic requirement is that at least one of the fallopian tubes of the female partner must be open.
The pregnancy success rate of each cycle of artificial insemination is less than 20%, and multiple consecutive cycles should be performed. If pregnancy is still not achieved after 6 consecutive cycles, IVF should be used instead.
IVF, or in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer, is the process of removing eggs from a woman’s ovaries, fertilizing them with sperm outside the body and culturing them for 3 to 5 days, and then transferring the embryos, which have developed to the cleavage sphere or blastocyst stage, into the uterine cavity so that they can be implanted and develop into a fetus. In general, IVF has a higher success rate than artificial insemination.
The couple is advised to go to the hospital for a complete checkup and choose the assisted conception technique according to their own health condition under the guidance of the doctor.
