Hand, foot and mouth vaccine, i.e. enterovirus 71 inactivated vaccine, babies may have adverse reactions such as fever and diarrhea after receiving this vaccine. Enterovirus 71 inactivated vaccine is used to prevent HFMD caused by EV71 infection. Adverse reactions such as fever, diarrhea, redness, swelling, pain, rash, itching, hard nodules at the site of vaccination, decreased appetite, nausea and vomiting, fatigue and irritability may occur after vaccination with this vaccine. The vaccine is contraindicated in persons with known hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine, persons allergic to kanamycin sulfate, gentamicin, persons with fever, acute illness, acute attacks of chronic diseases, persons with allergies, and persons with severe chronic diseases.
