Gastrointestinal polyps are mainly formed due to dietary factors, inflammatory stimulation or long-term use of proton pump inhibitors, bile reflux, heredity, lack of exercise and other reasons.
1. Dietary factors: spicy stimulating food or pickled food is particularly easy to stimulate the stomach and intestines, high-fat, high-calorie, low-fiber diet will increase the burden on the intestinal tract, which in turn increases the incidence of gastrointestinal polyps.
2. Inflammatory stimulation: gastrointestinal mucosa in the long-term stimulation of inflammation will lead to epithelial cell hyperplasia, the formation of polyps, common inflammatory bowel diseases such as chronic gastritis, inflammatory bowel disease.
3. Long-term use of proton pump inhibitors: long-term use of proton pump inhibitors for the treatment of gastritis and acid reflux patients, long-term use will lead to excessive proliferation of the mucosa, the risk of gastric polyps will increase.
4. Bile reflux: bile-pancreatic fluid contains bile acids and pancreatic enzymes, and the reflux of bile-pancreatic fluid into the stomach will cause the gastric mucosa to erode and bleed, and cause inflammatory hyperplasia, leading to gastric polyps.
5. Heredity: when someone in the family suffers from adenomatous polyps, the possibility of colorectal polyps in other members is significantly higher, especially family polyposis with obvious family heredity.
6. Lack of exercise: long-term sedentary, lack of exercise, the incidence of adenoma is significantly higher than other people.
If the patient has gastrointestinal polyps, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, after a clear diagnosis, actively cooperate with the doctor for treatment.
