There is no evidence that the new coronavirus can be transmitted through sexual contact, and the main modes of transmission are droplet, aerosol and direct contact. Neocoronaviruses are highly contagious and may cause neocoronavirus pneumonia, and they are highly transmissible through respiratory droplets, aerosols, and direct contact with the surrounding population. There is no evidence to suggest that sexual contact transmits novel coronavirus infections, but there is direct contact during sexual contact, so transmission of neocoronavirus is more likely. Prompt medical attention is recommended for symptoms, and close isolation is required for both confirmed cases and close contacts of novel coronavirus.
